Need an extra set of hands to help with the kids a few days a week?
A Mother's Help essentially helps a stay-at-home parent or a family needing extra help while they are home.
She is often hired after a maternity nurse leaves, to help with baby while mom is still on maternity leave. A Mother's Help works under some supervision to handle all aspects of childcare, errands, easy meal preparation and light house work. Because of the varied duties and because an adult is often in the home as well, the role is different than that of a sole charge nanny or a babysitter.
Our Mothers’ help can quickly adapt to family dynamics, and are used like an extra pair of hands. They have flexible schedules and can cover any responsibilities that parents have, from caring for the children, to cooking and cleaning. Mothers’ help can even get children ready for the day, and cover school drop-offs and pick-ups.
Every Mother's Help on our books has been checked with the DBS for your absolute peace of mind.
